Read This If You Can't Get Past The Trauma You've Experienced

Your trauma does not define you. What you have been through does not better or worsen you as a person. It is simply an experience you have had to endure.
The trauma you’ve been through doesn’t make you weak. It doesn’t make you any less of the strong, kick a** person you were before all of this.
You went through something horrible and gut wrenching. What you have had to deal with wasn’t easy. And you know what? The healing process isn’t going to be either.
It’s going to be hard. You are going to have to fight through it. You are going to fight everyday to get to the side you were on before this.
It isn’t going to be easy but it is going to be worth it. Sometimes, we have to go through the worst to get to what lies ahead. We have to fight through the pain and the sadness and tears to get to the place where we can genuinely smile and feel happiness again.
This may feel miles and miles and years and years away, but it isn’t. You are still the same person. You are still strong. You are still courageous. You are still beautiful.
You will fight like hell and you will overcome this. You will get your strength back. You will get your happiness back.
You aren’t as alone as you may feel. You aren’t the first person to go through this and you aren’t the first who is going to make it through.
You have a long road ahead, but one that will be worth it. You have a long road ahead filled with ups and downs and highs and lows however it WILL be worth it.
And you will be so much stronger than before.
